Making Insurance Companies Pay

Insurance is not in the business of justice.

Insurance companies want to protect their own bottom lines, and they know how to use the pitfalls in the legal system to do it. They know you don’t stand a chance without an experienced and skilled lawyer who knows his own way around the civil justice system. Todd will stand toe-to-toe with them for you, putting you on equal footing with the corporate giants. Whether you were hurt in a car accident, in a collision with a tractor-trailer, or by a dangerous product or defective machine, you can rest assured that Todd Butler knows how to get you the best possible result.

Injured in an Auto Accident?

If you’ve been in a traffic accident, an insurance adjuster is going to call you. Don’t be fooled. The adjuster isn’t calling to help you. The adjuster is calling to find flaws in your case. The adjuster will find ways to spin the truth so that before it’s over, they’ll claim you’re the one at fault. The reason is simple — the goal of an insurance company is to minimize the amount it has to pay for your injuries. So be careful talking to an adjuster. Or better, get Todd on your side so you can tell the insurance adjuster to call your lawyer. Tell them to call Todd Butler, (229) 377-1683.

Common Types of Personal Injury

– Car Accident
– Pedestrian Accident
– Slip and Fall
– Motorcycle Accident
– Negligence Injury
– Defective Product Injury
– Dog Bite
– Nursing Home Neglect

If somebody hurts you, regardless of whether they did it intentionally or not, then they have to pay to fix you. It’s that simple. There shouldn’t be anything to fight about. If it’s not a serious injury, a bandaid and a couple of aspirin, you’re owed you fifty cents for the bandaid and the aspirin. It’s easy to forgive a small injury like that, even if it hurt so bad you thought you were going to cry. But what about an arm, or a leg, or an eye? What if the injury broke bones, or wrenched your back and neck so badly you might need surgery? For most people, that injury threatens their job. So if “to forgive” means to forgo, or to give up your right to collect damages (money) from the clumsy party, is it even fair to ask you to forgive? What if you have a family with an injury that puts your job on the line? Is it morally okay to forgive before you protect your family from the financial consequences?

Note, however, that before you get done pondering these important moral questions, an insurance adjuster will call to teach you cold lessons about what greed means to an immortal corporation. Most insurance adjusters, on the personal level, are decent people. In twenty years I’ve worked personally with several hundred at least, and probably more than a thousand. (I’m beginning to recognize supervisors’ names. They’ve been in this fight as long as I have.) But don’t be fooled that the insurance COMPANY is a “decent” person. It’s a “person” only by operation of a legal fiction; it’s a machine, and the adjuster’s job is to feed it coal.

We might not stop the machine, but you don’t have to take a second lick. Let us fight the machine for what you’re owed.

I’ve been at this for over twenty years now. I’ve seen a few things and I know what to do. Call me if I can help you with anything.  –KTB (229) 377-1683.

Semi-Truck & Motorcycle Accidents

Truck & Tractor-Trailer Accidents

Trucks and tractor-trailers can easily be intimidating on the highway. Their sheer size and weight make it almost impossible to avoid massive injury to life and limb when accidents occur. It is very important to have an experienced attorney on your side if you or a loved one has been injured in a truck accident.

Truck drivers are required to have special training and licensure but regulations meant to protect you on the highway from the dangers of big trucks are too often ignored by trucking companies that force drivers to work long hours with inadequate rest periods. Many drivers take stimulants and other drugs in order to keep awake and make the tight deadlines set by their employers. Todd is very experienced at investigating these claims and pursuing all possible sources of compensation including the insurance policies of trucking companies and negligent truck drivers.
